Premio Abbiati

Established in 1981, the Abbiati Prize turns forty in 2021. Set up at the Scala's Theatrical Museum in the “Ridotto dei Palchi Arturo Toscanini” and curated by Pier Luigi Pizzi, the exibition's path floows eighteen panels that recall some of the shows and artists linked to La Scala which have won the prestigious award. From Donnerstag aus Licht by Stockhausen in 1980 to Pelléas et Mélisande by Abbado, Vitez and Kokkos in 1985, to Armide by Muti and Pizzi in 1996, to Tristan und Isolde by Barenboim and Chéreau to finish with Fin de Partie by Kurtág in 2018.
