“There is a lot of the Maestro in these rooms. Meanwhile, there is him, in different moments of his life, from Camuccini to Nadar, there are his interpreters and then his impresario Barbaja, his librettist Felice Romani, his set designer Alessandro Sanquirico, the composers of his time and many others characters related to him. Almost all of his works have been performed at the Teatro alla Scala, some were born here. One thing is certain. We must document what Rossini was represented on this scene. From the first work that saw the light here, La pietra del paragone, to the recent edition of La gazza ladra. I would like this project to bring my contribution of gratitude and boundless admiration for this immense artist, who amused and moved me “(Pier Luigi Pizzi)
